Jury Services

Response to the COVID-19

The court has implemented the following in response to the COVID-19. These changes have been reviewed and approved by the Humboldt County Public Health Doctor assigned to the court.

a. Social distancing
b. Face masks/face coverings are required for everyone who comes to the courthouse. Please bring and wear a face mask/face covering.
c. Fewer jurors are being summoned.
d. Bring your jury summons with you on the day you report.
e. Bring your own bottled water, as a common water dispenser will not be available.
f. Health Screening Questions will be asked of all prospective jurors.
g. Jury trials have limited seating
h. Social distancing is maintained throughout the entire jury trial process, i.e. assembly, empanelment and deliberation.
i. Fewer trials are being held.

Jury Staff of the Superior Court of California, County of Humboldt will never ask past or prospective jurors for financial information, credit card numbers, bank account information, or personal information like Social Security Numbers.
