Humboldt County is located in the heart of the northern coastal redwood region, situated between Del Norte and Mendocino counties. The County is geographically large at 4.053 square miles, but the population is relatively small at approximately 125,000.
The only court facility is in downtown Eureka located in the County Courthouse Building. The Court has a session on the second Monday of each month in Hoopa, and on the third Friday of each month in Garberville.
