Self-Help Clinic Schedule:

Small Claims

Small Claims Clinics are TUESDAYS ONLY at 1:15 in the jury assembly room on the ground floor of the courthouse. This clinic is for those who need assistance with small claims procedures and with the small claims paperwork. This is not a class for those who already have a small claims judgment or are being sued by a credit card company. If you need assistance with enforcing your judgment or responding to a debt collection lawsuit, please contact the Civil Self-Help Center by phone at (707) 269-1283.

The civil self-help attorney is also available for assistance with small claims cases on a walk-in basis every Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in room 305.

Restraining Orders

Restraining order clinics are now Fridays at 1:00 p.m. ONLY in room 305, on the 3rd floor of the courthouse. This is a clinic for those who need assistance completing the paperwork to apply for or respond to a domestic violence, civil harassment or elder abuse restraining order. Those who plan on attending this clinic to complete a restraining order petition should bring a detailed description of the events that led them to apply for a restraining order.
